Let Us Help You Carry The Weight in 2015
It’s the last piece of the holiday season – New Year’s Resolutions. Did you make them? When will you break them? It’s almost a cliché. One year I gave up being passive aggressive as my resolution and it was great. It’s one of the few I’ve kept up over the years. (life is better when you don’t expect people to read your mind)
The ubiquitous vow is to get in shape and lose weight. It’s an oldie but a goodie. I’ve also heard the comment “again? you do this every year!”. So? What’s your point? If you do try every year, don’t be hard on yourself. Now that vacations and parties are over, it’s easier to get back to a schedule and make yourself a priority. Just because it happens to coincide with the media blitz of new diets and hot (read: expensive) new exercise equipment doesn’t make your desires any less valid or the journey any less yours.
If you’re embarking on an adventure to get healthier, I wish you the best of luck. Please do your research, because there’s a lot of bad information out there. There are also a lot of people pushing a lot of things for you to buy – as if shiny new running shoes will make the difference between being a couch potato and winning the New York Marathon. Well, for some people it might help with motivation, but for the rest of us – what we have is more than good enough. And just in case your sports bra needs some refreshing, The Strap Saver really can help you on your way. It has the staying power to hold through those long runs on the treadmill or an intense kickboxing class. It attaches the same way that it does for a regular bra.
Whatever you choose, we hope that you have a happy and healthy start to 2015!
